Leadership Coaching
Leaders really require 3 things:
- The capacity for authenticity
- The ability to access your skills in a full, dynamic way & with awareness
- The aptitude for continually learning (i.e. unfolding) and cultivating learning in others
This is what it means to be self-generating. And this is what it is to be a leader. Leaders create possibilities for themselves and others around them, and they do this in alignment with who they are. Each person can be a leader. It is not created by a title. It is about a capability.
This is where it is about the work. Coaching is about working with yourself on your areas of learning and alignment. Each of the ways of being above are created with intention. The ability to be authentic, the ability to be continually deepen your skills, and the ability to learn and cultivate learning in others – are all capacities that are developed and learned. And, this is very specific to you and the context you work in.
So, what specifically is your leadership edge?
In coaching, you can expect to have:

– A visible process that is that is experiential and aimed at building awareness and practice in your skill area

Connection between our parts, our skills, and awareness creates the ability to act effectively; it also underlies the ability to shape our world. This is what it is to be an authentic leader. It is the most powerful place from which to influence others and shape our organizations.

Depth Based Somatic Work
Healing and contacting the subtle body (our emotional, subconscious, feeling body) is a key part of change. This can be esp. important if the change we’re going through connects or reveals element at the core of who we are, our programmed experiences, and nervous system.
Often the need for this can be surprising, in cases unwelcome or even unknown. It may appear like a barrier that you can’t get by or through. Or it may be a part of us, we are just not in touch with.
There is the chance to bring depth & somatic work into other aspects of leadership and personal change coaching. This would be touching in somatically when it arises and is desired. It is always optional, and fully a choice. You can also contact me directly for interest in somatic and intuitive work, or balancing.
My work is principally in balancing, resourcing, and bringing awareness; particularly energetically in the body, and also as it may arise in deeper patterning in our speaking and doing. Given the range of different topics and people, I may point you to other referrals or resources, if it is outside of my scope or arena.

Personal Change Coaching
There are times where our old ways of doing things just won’t get us through.
Consider personal change coaching when:
- You want to find more space for yourself in the midst of practical changes
- You know you cannot address your topic as exclusively i) logistical, or as solely ii) an interior thing
- You really care about your topic and you need something that touches more of who you are, and treats you authentically
Change requires all of you. It requires your head, heart, and body. It touches our environment, our relationships, how we think, how we act – our very sense of our lives. Consider personal change coaching when you are ready to step into your life in a new way.
Personal change coaching can give you a space for what is most important to you, create a process for deepening yourself while going through major change, and gain support on the skills and dimensions needed for your particular pathway.
In personal change coaching, you can expect a process that is:
– Practical: What is going on? What needs to change?
– Experiential: How can I practice new skills? Deepen my awareness? Step into my learning?
– Moving your topic along: What are the domains of my life where I can move this topic forward?
– Treating you as a whole person: What is my possibility? How do I bring more of myself to life, my actual life?
In personal change coaching, you can also expect observable outcomes (these will be written out early on and guide you). The process of how we get there will depend on you and your situation, however key themes that link many topics are: creating new resources, developing your orientation, clarifying your efforts, embodying and practicing new skills, and stepping into the body and nervous system of someone who can handle change. The process is completely customized to you, and the attention is on you and your development throughout the period.
